Storya: SK Summer Camp and Team Building

Mandaue's SK Summer Camp and Team Building was a three-day stay in Hidden Paradise Mountain Resort located in San Fernando, Cebu. The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president decided to have this kind of activity because our term is about to end (eventually). I've attended quite a number of seminars and this is an advantage for me because I get to meet the different leaders from different barangays in Mandaue and I actually get to hang out with them! It's nice to go out from my shell sometimes and just see how nice the world is.

FIRST DAY- April 26, 2013
It's a free day for us! We went River Trekking! My friends found it tiresome and hassle but I find it AWESOME, FUN, GREAT, IWISHTODOTHISAGAIN, ADVENTUROUS! I have always wanted to attend to this kind of adventurous activities. After the trek, the snacks and the dinner, the swimming pools are wide open for us! We had some drinks and some songs too. This time, we had new friends who joined us. It's pretty weird because they look so new to me where in fact, they are also SK officials in their own barangays.

SECOND DAY- April 27, 2013
Program proper. Everybody got up so early that the activity started (10am) get it? HAHA! Of course we had breakfast and some conversations. We met our facilitator. He looked common but cool because he was wearing his outfit like he's about to play soccer. Kidding! We had our own chants which me and my group with Collen and Keate created. The facilitator was tasked to teach us games wherein we would learn about team building and other values. The games were a little risky though. We had a couple of friends who got wounded because of his games. Hmmm.
Anyway, we had the most awesome lunch of our lives! We got to feast and eat with our bare hands! BUDOL FIGHT! Oh God that was awesome! The games ended in the pool area. It was a little boring though because some of us don't know how to swim AND then we ended up staying at the kiddie area. IT WAS STILL FUN THOUGH! The day.. ended with some more drinks and with a talk with Rosan. We slept at 6am- the time when breakfast is going to be served and woke up at 10am the next morning.

THIRD DAY- April 28, 2013
Departure. There were some SK officials who came late yesterday that is why they weren't able to enjoy the pool and the activities as well so, as early as 9am, they already jumped into the pool area and took some pictures. We all left the place at 1pm. SAFE AND SOUND.

This is probably going to be the last time that all of us would bond. US; SK OFFICIALS OF MANDAUE CITY. I hope, there are still activities nga maabot kay tawn makamingaw man gyud nuon! Our term is about to end. Let's make the most of it!
