Suroy- suroy: Sumilon Island (Oslob Escapade Part 2)

It's a 30- minute travel from mainland Oslob to Sumilon Island. We were able to rent a pump boat to take us to the island for 2500 pesos.

This sand bar divides a little part of the ocean in two. The dynamic side with vigorous waves, and the calm, tranquil side. Good for relaxing and the kids! The sand is almost pure-white and powder- like but be careful with the water though because it might get deeper. It is quite deep.
We didn't stay long in Sumilon Island but for those who want to stay for an overnight, there is actually a resort in the Island. It is quite expensive but if you want then you can book it over. There were no available tables and chairs of course. We only had the sand and our mats for our things. Toilets are available near the beach area.
