Suroy- suroy: City Tour Around Puerto Princesa, Palawan

     Puerto Princesa known as the Eco- Tourism Center of the Philippines. Home to the world famous Underground River, one of the seven(7) new wonders of nature. The city also have many tourist spots which can be visited for a day only. These are some of the famous tourist spots that we got to see.
Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm
     Also called as the "Prison without Walls" because we can freely converse with the Iwahig Prison inmates and buy their handicraft products which they crafted by themselves. These inmates are already in the minimum security and are safe. Some of them can even farm in the vast colony of the prison with out guards watching over them. According to an interview in History Channel, this prison only have 5 escapes per year.


Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center
     Famous for being a crocodile farm which houses some of the largest crocs known to be alive in the Philippines. This is where restaurants who serve crocodile sisig get their produce. A nature park is  even located at the rear end of the area where you can find wild and rescued animals including a Bearcat!


 Baker's Hill
     This is where food and nature collide. Baker's Hill offers scenic views of Puerto Princesa as well as a variety of delicacies which are sold at very affordable prices.


Mitra's Ranch
     Approximately 200m away from where Baker's Hill is located. Dine with a picturesque view and enjoy outdoor activities like Horseback riding and Zip line.
